The Opera Collective is a group of Opera singers throughout New York City, seeking to make opera accessible to the general public by presenting educational programs and free public performances of vocal music including opera, art song, operetta and musical theater in New York's thriving subway stations. This group of singers performs with MTA’s Music Under New York program, bringing Bizet, Gershwin, and Puccini to subway riders.  Members of Opera Collective enjoy diverse careers in many of the nation’s great opera houses, including their own New York City Opera and The Metropolitan Opera.
