Special Services

WHEELCHAIR ACCESS
Available in both theatres. Please identify any special needs when placing your ticket order by phone. There is a barrier free entrance to the building at 77 Harrison Street (between Greenwich St and West Side Highway). To pick up your tickets, which is located on the Second Floor and access to the theatre, you must contact Ticketing Services at 212-220-1460 prior to arriving to the theater. 

LISTENING DEVICES
Both of TRIBECA’s theaters are equipped with infrared listening devices. Speak with the House Staff to request one prior to curtain time. You’ll need some form of picture ID for a security deposit.

Privacy Policy

We recognize the importance of privacy to the visitors to Tribeca Performing Arts Center’s Web site. We've prepared this policy statement so you will be aware of what information we collect about visitors and how we use that information.

What personal information does TRIBECA collect and when?
When you request tickets, brochures or purchase a Family 10 Club, we ask for the information necessary to process your request: name, address, telephone number, e-mail address and when necessary, your credit card number. For reasons of security, none of your credit card information is stored permanently on the Web server.

How does TRIBECA use the information collected?
Your name and contact information may be used to fulfill your brochure, membership or ticket request or contact you for additional information. We add your name and contact information and e-mail address to our database and you may receive direct mailings or telemarketing calls from Tribeca Performing Arts Center. We may occasionally make your name and address available to select other organizations for direct mailing purposes. We do not provide our lists to other organizations for telemarketing purposes.

RE-SELLING OF TICKETS

BMCC does not authorize the resale of tickets.

 

LATECOMERS
Late seating is at the discretion of the producer and management.  Patrons arriving late will be seated only at appropriate intervals during the performance.

 

SMOKING

In compliance with New York City Health regulations and CUNY’s tobacco policy, smoking is prohibited on the campus of Borough of Manhattan Community College, including Tribeca Performing Arts Center’s theaters.

 

FOOD & BEVERAGES

Bottled water purchased at the theater’s concessions stand is permitted into the theater. No outside food or beverage is allowed in the theaters.

 

CELLULAR PHONES

The use of cellular phones during the performance is prohibited including texting, vibration, and the use of the camera and video features.  The phone is to be turned off.

 

THE PHOTOGRAPHING, VIDEOTAPING OR SOUND RECORDING of any performance or the possession of any device for such use inside this theater without written permission of management is prohibited by law.


DISTURBANCES

The theatre reserves the right to refuse admission to guests displaying disruptive behavior.

Disruptive behavior is any disruption to the progress of the event. A person acts disorderly, when with intent to cause public inconvenience, annoyance or alarm, or recklessly creating a risk thereof. 

The theatre reserves the right to refund the cost of the ticket.

 

FIRE NOTICE

In the event of a fire alarm calmly head to the nearest exit and follow the instructions of the theatre staff. 

 

LOST & FOUND

The lost & found contact is 212-220-8136.  The BMCC Tribeca Performing Arts Center is not responsible for the personal property of patrons.

 

RENTAL INFORMATION for productions, readings or meetings may be obtained by calling 212-220-1459.

 

PATRONS USING WHEELCHAIRS may notify the Box Office at (212) 220-1460 for accommodations in advance.

 

STUDENT/FACULTY TICKET POLICY

Tickets are available at a special price for the BMCC Community, which includes students, faculty and staff with a valid school ID. Tickets are subject to availability.

 

RESTROOMS are located in the Lower Lobby level of Theatre One, and the main lobby of the college.
